Derived from the FS720S, the FSX730SC is a small body cutaway acoustic electric guitar, which is a nice alternative to a dreadnought or jumbo-style guitar. This smaller body is sometimes referred to as a concert or parlor style, and is well suited to players of any genre.

Controls for the Yamaha FSX730SC's under-bridge-mounted A.R.T. pickup are mounted on the acoustic-electric's side for optimum access. The battery compartment is also located on the side, close to the neck, to provide easy replacement.

The FSX730SC preamp is a 1-Way A.R.T. system equipped with a chromatic tuner. The tuner is accurate, easy to use, and easy to view. You can use the tuning mode by pressing a single button even if you have no cable connected. Turning the tuner on or off will not affect the output in any way. The tuner also comes with a one-minute auto-off timer to save battery power.
